Oshawa is amongst Ontario, Canada's cities on the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Oshawa Fiesta Week is a yearly, week-long celebration which happens each June. The Festival displays a fabulous parade, providing cultural entertainment and ethnic cuisine. The Purple Woods Maple Festival, a 17-hectare open meadow and sugar maple forest is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine. This particular festival takes place each and every March.
