The city of Leamington, Ontario is a municipality within Essex County. Leamington City has been dubbed the "Sun Parlour of Canada" and "Tomato Capital of Canada." Leamington City sits on the shores of Lake Erie and has an approximate population of 30,000 people. Alex Wilkinson was the very first official settler within the area, arriving within the city of Leamington around the mid-nineteenth century.
