The Water Well Driller Program is designed to teach students how to operate various types of drilling equipment for the purpose of drilling and servicing water wells, in all types of geological formations. A student will learn how to service and maintain drilling equipment, select and change drilling tools, disinfect and service completed wells and pumping equipment.
The Water Well Driller Program can usually be completed within a 2 year time frame. Approx. 12 weeks will be conducted in a classroom atmosphere. After graduation, the Water Well Driller will have a good understanding of gasoline and diesel engines, well Construction and Design, and be well versed on the operations of hydraulic and air operated equipment and Oxy-Acetylene Equipment.
