The Pega Scholars Program supports equitable participation in tech by providing scholarships to future technologists around the globe. We aim to improve the availability, access, and equity of learning opportunities for all in the technology space.
Eligibility
Applicants to the Pega Scholars Program must:
- Be high school/secondary school seniors who graduated in 2024 or current college/university undergraduates, or CEGEP students
- Plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-, three- or four-year college or university, CEGEP institution (or equivalent) for the entire academic year (2024-2025)
- Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Technology
- Reside in one of the following countries:
- Australia
- Brazil
- Canada
- India
- Singapore
- The Netherlands
- United Kingdom
- United States

Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Pegasystems play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Awards are one-time only. Past recipients are not eligible to reapply. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Academic evaluation will include a review of the grade/mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant’s country and a review of the results of academic examinations.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award. Up to ten (10) awards will be granted.
- Awards will be issued in U.S. dollars (USD).
- Provided there are qualified applicants, recipients will be selected in proportion to the number of applicants per country.
- Awards are for undergraduate study only.
- Recipients may also receive internship and/or employment opportunities from Pegasystems.
Notification
All applicants will be notified in August.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Pegasystems. Payment will be made in late August.
Required Materials
As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:
- A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
- Upper secondary school diploma or certificate, if earned (International applicants only).
- Results of examinations (International applicants only).
- English translations for any non-English documents.
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
