Acknowledging the pressing need for greater vehicle safety measures, we challenge you to contribute to the conversation. How can society improve on vehicle safety, preventing injuries and deaths from roadway accidents? The Innovation in Vehicle Safety Scholarship will award a $1,000 scholarship to a selected student with the strongest essay plan.
We invite you to join us in envisioning a safer future for our roadways. Share your innovative ideas on revolutionizing vehicle safety, be it through developing new technology, mitigating risk in existing vehicles, or other transformative ideas.
ELIGIBILITY
- The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia
- This scholarship is only available to current high school seniors, vocational students, college attendees, or graduate students enrolled in a two to four-year post-secondary institution or vocational program for the upcoming Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 semesters.
- This scholarship opportunity is available to legal residents of the United States who are residing in one of the 50 states or District of Columbia.
- Individuals employed by The Law Offices of David W. Holub, along with their immediate families (including parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and those residing in the same households, whether related or not, are ineligible to participate in the competition.
- Applicants for the scholarship should maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 and have a strong academic standing.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- The candidate must submit a 500-1000 word essay response to the prompt:
- Provide a well-written essay plan detailing strategies for enhancing the safety of motor vehicles, aiming to prevent accidents on the road.
- Please note that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is deemed present in the essay, the application will be denied.
- The applicant is required to provide a comprehensive resume detailing their professional and academic background.
- The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school.
- first-year college students, graduate students, or recent transfers, an unofficial transcript from the current institution and the latest official transcript from the previous school should be included.
- High school students must provide evidence of acceptance to their college or university.
- Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state.
