The Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) is pleased to announce the CCHS/CR Scholarship Program for the Graduating Class of 2024 and continuing Colorado College students.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the 2024 CCHS/CR Scholarship is to assist Colorado high school seniors or continuing college students, who will attend a college/university within the State of Colorado. CCHS/CR is a voluntary organization and therefore the primary selection criterion for this scholarship will be Volunteerism/Community Service. Sixteen, $1,500 scholarships will be awarded for the purpose of defraying tuition costs. The scholarships will be distributed among the seven CCHS/CR districts and the continuing college students and may be utilized at any of the Colorado Council Member Institutions of Higher Education in the State of Colorado. (See attached list of 2024 Member Institutions.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or continuing college student.
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and a resident of Colorado for his or her final two years of high school.
- Applicant must be accepted at a Colorado Council Member Institution enrolling in the next academic year.
- Applicant must demonstrate significant experience in volunteerism/community service.
- Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
SELECTION:
Applicant will be selected according to the following considerations: volunteerism/community service, extracurricular activities & dedication to others. Selection is based on, but not limited to, these criteria.
