Our criminal justice system is under constant scrutiny, while laws and pieces of legislation are constantly in question, and at times, rightfully so. As J. Ryan Brown Law, LLC is a criminal justice law firm passionate about freedom and upholding individual rights, we offer a scholarship for students who share our passion and want to make their voices heard.
The system in which we are living impacts every aspect of our lives. Changes in legislation may be a positive or negative thing. The reality is that these changes impact each person individually.
Recently, many controversial laws have been in the news and are a topic of discussion among people. Through this scholarship, we would like students to share a piece of legislation or law relevant to them and how changes would impact them. Explain why this legislation or regulation should be abolished or kept in place.
We are not here to judge your opinion or stance on any issue. Essay responses should be informed and thoughtfully written. Through the Fight for Freedom Scholarship, we will award one student with $1,000 to be used to pursue their educational goals. All majors are welcome to apply.
