Jet Insurance Company invests in the future business leaders of America. This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students who are interested in pursuing a career in business.
Scholarship Details
Prize: One $1,000 scholarship
Prompt: Share a personal story of how you overcame a major life challenge or obstacle and what lessons you learned that prepared you for college and beyond. How will these experiences provide you with a unique perspective in pursuing a career in business?

Rules and Regulations
The Jet Future Business Leaders Scholarship Contest is open to all United States citizens/residents.
Any essay created partially or entirely with the use of AI will be automatically disqualified. All submissions will be reviewed and checked for use of AI/ChatGPT.
Applicants must complete all sections of the application to be considered. This includes first and last name, email address, current/planned college, major or planned major, college website URL, and expected college graduation date.
Finalists must provide a photo of themselves and proof of enrollment in order to be considered. A photo of the winner along with their essay will be posted to the Jet blog and shared to social media.
Late applications will not be considered. Please submit applications prior to the respective deadline.
One entry is allowed per applicant per contest.
The essay should address the prompt and be between 250 and 500 words in length.
Essays submitted must be the applicant's original work. Any plagiarism will results in automatic disqualification. The essays must also not infringe upon intellectual property or third-party rights of any company, organization, or person.
People who have applied in the past but not chosen as a winner may apply for the scholarship next semester, but past winners will not be eligible to win a second time.
There is only one scholarship available per semester and all decisions are final.
Jet chooses finalists which will have the chance to be voted on via a public poll. Finalists will be notified with a link to the voting page for their chance to share that link and win. The finalist with the most votes will be awarded the scholarship.
Jet is not held responsible for any local, state, or federal taxes. By submitting the essay for Jet's contest, the student acknowledges their acceptance and understanding of these terms.
