The attorneys of the Amy G Injury Firm believe everyone is entitled to an equal opportunity to create a better future for themselves, their families, and society as a whole.
Many face circumstances that put them at a disadvantage in achieving their goals. Our firm is devoted to working hard to give the voiceless a voice and to equal the playing field. Consistent with this philosophy, the Amy G Injury Firm has proudly awarded the Access to Education Scholarship for the past six years.
We believe in the tapestry of progress, access to education is the golden thread, weaving a brighter future for all. Education is not a privilege but a right and the foundation for a flourishing society. As we unlock the doors of learning for everyone, we pave the way for a world where diverse minds converge, innovate, and collectively propel us toward a harmonious and enlightened tomorrow.
Each year, we award $1,000 to the applicant who offers the most innovative and thought-provoking ideas for expanding access to higher education and a strong articulation as to why they believe that objective is so critically important to the future of our nation and the world.
Who is Eligible?
The 2024 Amy G Injury Firm Access to Education Scholarship is open to students presently enrolled in any course of study at an accredited degree program in the United States, whether a vocational program, community college, junior college, undergraduate, or graduate school. GED holders and soon-to-be high school graduates attending a college-level study program are also eligible for the award.
The best candidates for the scholarship are those who can eloquently describe their understanding of the role of higher education in our culture, how it can lead to the betterment of all segments of society, and how access to such programs can be expanded to be more inclusive of underrepresented groups.
Those interested in receiving the scholarship must submit evidence of good academic standing from their current institution. Such proof will consist of a cumulative grade point average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
