Scholarships Offered:
Requirements:
- High School Senior from a Warren County High School
- Reside in Warren County
- Be a member of Warren Co. 4-H or FFA
- Must be starting at least two year or higher program
- Family members of WCF Board are eligible to apply
Evaluation Criteria:
- Overall Application Quality (grammar, spelling, completeness) 10 points
- Field of Study (explanation of study plans) 5 points
- Extra-Curricular throughout High School (involvement) 5 points
- Questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (quality of response) 10 points each
- Two letters of recommendation 5 points each
Submission Instructions:
- Applications are due April 1st
- Applications can be printed and mailed to: Warren County Fair Scholarship Committee, 701 West 2nd Ave, Indianola, IA 50125 OR may be emailed to info@warrencofair.com.
- Typed applications are preferred but not required.
- Questions: Please type your answers to the questions below. All questions should be answered in one document. Please type each question word-for-word as a subheading above each of your answers.

- How many years have you exhibited at the Warren County Fair (livestock/static)?
- Letters of recommendation: Attach 2 letters of reference/recommendation. Letters can be from a teacher, 4-H or FFA leader, minister, etc.
Scholarships winners will be notified by mail to attend the Pre-Fair Picnic for recognition. A letter will be mailed to the winner on November 1st asking for information to send the check for second semester of enrollment. The check will be mailed direct to the school as soon as the infomration has been received in the Fair office.
