Ruppert Scholarship

In the last 30 years we have given more than 6 million dollars in college scholarships to more than 2,800 deserving students to assist with the pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree. The California Scottish Rite Foundation places a strong emphasis on education and scholarships are provided for degrees in many fields including engineering, foreign service, forestry, medicine, public school administration, public service, and speech and language pathology.

The Foundation provides scholarships to fully accredited Colleges or Universities nationwide through several primary scholarship funds including; the Baldwin Scholarship, Harry Lister Scholarship, Ruppert Scholarship, and the William F. Stovall Scholarship.

Applicants must be California residents, have a 3.0 GPA, and be planning on enrolling full-time according to their school program. Beyond that, each of our scholarships have more specific requirements.

The Ruppert Scholarship supports students pursuing an undergraduate degree in either medicine, engineering, forestry, or public school administration.

Award

$3,000.00 per year (Effective for new applicants for the 2018-2019 School Year), for a maximum of four years, paid directly to the student. $1,500.00 in February and $1,500.00 in August upon receipt of the below requirements.

Eligibility

California resident aged 17 to 25 seeking a college degree as an undergraduate.

School

Any fully accredited college or university nationwide.

This scholarship is only for study in:

• Medicine
• Engineering
• Forestry
• Public School Administration

Class load is a 12-unit minimum. We require grades (not pass or fail ratings). The GPA (grade point average) for our grant is 3.0 or better. We seek students who are serious about their education.
